Data deletion.
You can ask us to delete your BricksDeck data at any time, and we'll do it within 30 days. The only thing we hold back is the handful of records Indian law requires us to keep. Here's exactly what goes, what stays, and how to make the request.
01What gets deleted
On a verified request we permanently remove everything that identifies you:
- your agency account and team members;
- all inventory, photos, leads, and deals;
- every buyer conversation stored in BricksDeck;
- the BricksDecks we generated and the search embeddings behind them;
- copies in our backups, cleared on the next rotation — typically within 30 days.
02What we have to keep
Two narrow exceptions, both for good reason:
- Billing records — tax invoices are retained for 8 years under the Indian Income Tax Act.
- Aggregated analytics — anonymised usage numbers that can't be traced back to you may be kept to keep improving the product.
03If you're an account holder
Go to the admin panel → Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm by email and WhatsApp. Prefer email? Write to hello@bricksdeck.com from the address registered on your account and we'll take it from there.
04If you're a buyer
If you've messaged an agency that runs on BricksDeck and want that history gone, email hello@bricksdeck.com from the number you used. We'll verify it, delete your conversations within 30 days, and let the agency know.
05WhatsApp opt-outs
As Meta's WhatsApp Business policy requires, we honour every opt-out a buyer sends — STOP, an opt-out keyword, or a block on Meta's side — immediately. Full deletion then follows within 30 days, save for the legal records noted above.
